Dr. Ma has been a medical clinical practice since 1982. He currently operates Acutherapy & Herbal Clinic with Dr. Jenny Zhang in Vancouver, where he helps couples achieve their dreams through offering safe, effective treatment for infertility. Dr. Ma strives to ensure that every patient experiences the most positive, rewarding results possible.

Dr. Ma earned his MD from the reputable Sun Yat-sen University of China, and practiced both Western and Chinese Medicine after graduation. He got an MSc in Molecular Biology in infectious diseases from University of London in 1994.  He has a board knowledge and rich clinical experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as Western Medicine.

Jenny Zhang

Jenny Zhang utilizes her unique magic hands to create practical solutions for optimal health.

Jenny Zhang offers over 25 years experience in the Western and Eastern Healthcare. She treats the whole person with acupuncture to stimulate the body's innate healing capacities. Management of lifestyle, diet, exercise and stress are addressed with each patient.

Jenny Zhang graduated as a MD from China in 1982 , and she was one of the first batch of 68 Registered Acupuncturists in BC. She has been a registrant in good standing of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of BC (CTCMA) since 1999. She is a member of American Pregnancy Association in US.

Jenny Zhang believes that her treatment plays  energy interchangeable roles among the patient, the Universe and herself.

Both of them have Western Medical background as well as Eastern Medicine. They are aware of any testing the clients may have had. Therefore, they are able to interpret the lab-testing and understand the hormonal lab values that are pertinent to each case. The rich experience and well-education will make them aware of important factors that could be crucial to the client's success in conceiving. They are also well-versed in the protocols ant treatments used by Western reproductive specialists. During the IVF/IUI procedures, they are familiar with assisting reproductive techniques, the actions, and  potential side effects. They always provide the client with greater support as she goes through the intense and often stressful processes of IVF/IUI, and hormonal suppression or stimulation.

Besides their knowledge, experience and skills, they are a kind of genuinely concerned, compassionate, and deeply empathetic people. They make every effort to build the trust between client and them during the journey the client takes. All the factors as above make their their practice successful.
